Down At The Home Depot I found this
Just about exactly how I’d do it. Lovely.

Man, that is one gorgeous truck. Now image that being parked in a forrest campsite surrounded by pine trees. It’s basically postcard worthy.

Marin bros are buying these and Land Cruisers, so many nice examples now. My dad has a stock one in Montana, white with red interior.

Nice truck.
I prefer mine to be of the Chevrolet variety, here’s my buddy’s ' 70 K15 at Afton.

Utah is very chill about old cars. I run a 41 plate with no reg sticker since they were smaller and there's no where to put it. Never had any trouble.

Most places. I got a ticket for no front plate when I lived downtown.

I remember when I sold my rust-tastic, but running and driving, ‘69 Bronco instead of towing it to Colorado with me when I moved here. I was thrilled with the $3500 I got for it. If only I knew then...

Utah and Idaho Highway Patrol are both pretty vigilant about the “display front plate” thing... A law they apparently don’t enforce at all here in Californio

I’m still unclear on which, if any, of the new Bronco variants coming to market will be true to this ethos.

That is the exact opposite of my experience. S mall town CA enforced everything. I have been driving in Utah for 7 years and never had a front plate with no mention even lived in downtown SLC.

Utah Highway patrol better not do anything about it, its only a law in Salt Lake County.

Ever heard of out of towners getting pulled over for no front when their state doesn't require it? I feel like they could play dumb just as an excuse.

It’s secondary enforcement, but the law across Utah. Apparently it’s a primary thing in SLC?
The times I’ve had “adverse” effects about it have been in a conversation about speeding. The last time was in that perpetual construction on I-15 in Ogden near 24th... which seems like it’s been torn up for three decades by now. That “55" in there for awhile always tripped me up.

Dunno. None of the Tesla guys here in SoCal run a front plate. Nobody seems to care.
Up in Idaho, I’ve had State Troopers do a 180 across three lanes of traffic in morning rush to hunt me down for having no front plate displayed on project cars. The wife was stopped twice in one month for it in her TT.

huh, Looks like the current law passed in 2015 which would have been much after when I lived there. I have front plates on, but the one on the cruiser keeps getting torn off from water crossings so...yeah
